Commissions

I specialize in acrylic and watercolor paintings, as well as graphite and colored pencil drawings. I primarily do pet and human portraits, landscapes, and florals, but am open to discussing any other ideas you have. I've completed over 25 commissions, totaling 78 pieces, so I have a generous amount of experience. Commission completion times depend on size and complexity of the subject(s), but I can give an estimate during preliminary discussions. A bit about my process: after I receive your email, we will discuss your idea, and I'll ask for any reference photos you may have. We will discuss price, size, and medium of the picture, as well as any deadline you wish me to work with. Up to this point there is no obligation to continue. However, once I make a mockup (digital example of the finished product) and you approve it, the commission is begun. I will send pictures during the process to make sure the vision you have is still there, and within reason can change things about the picture if you wish. I retain the right to decline any changes that are beyond my skill level, however. Once the picture is finished, I will send you a final set of photos, for your approval. Then I will seal the artwork, and package it up. After I receive your payment, I will ship the commission to you.
